The Cotati City Council took action to support their on-going economic development efforts by providing Cotati restaurants, taverns, and retailers a variety of flexible options to safely use sidewalks, parking spaces, or other public areas for business activity. This flexibility is seen as key to allowing local businesses to adjust to on-going changes in the Health Orders while providing safe outdoor spaces to conduct business. This most recent action provides options including use of sidewalk areas, park lands, parking spaces, or even limited street closures (if beneficial) through October 1, 2020. The City Council also waived all fees for review and issuance of City permits required to use these spaces.
